ADRE licensing exam administered by Pearson VUE. Effective Jan 1, 2026 the salesperson exam is two separate exams (General 80 Q / State 60 Q), each requiring 75%. The broker exam is a single Arizona-specific 180-question exam (plus 15 unscored pretest), 75% passing.

To qualify for the Arizona broker examination, an applicant must have been actively licensed as a salesperson or broker for at least:

  1. Three years out of the immediately preceding five years
  2. Two years out of the immediately preceding four years
  3. One year with fifty closed transactions
  4. Five consecutive years
